hi, i'm april :)

i made this website as a fun way to showcase myself and my creative work, as well as brushing up on my (poor) coding skills.

some of my biggest passions are music production and audio engineering. i’ve been producing and mixing since i was 16, most of it being instrumental hip hop, and i’m currently interning at a studio in my hometown with the goal of becoming a professional recording and mixing engineer. i plan on making a whole page on here dedicated to songs i’ve recorded, mixed, or produced at some point!

outside of the technical side of things, i love listening to music and i’m always going out of my way to find new projects to enjoy. i feel very blessed living in an era where nearly every piece of recorded music is available online and ready for me to discover. here are some of my favorite albums: merriweather post pavilion (animal collective), mista thug isolation (lil ugly mane), spiderland (slint), exmilitary (death grips), emergency and i (dismemberment plan), and madvillainy (madvillain).
